Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure to treat infections in the center of a tooth. This treatment is necessary when the pulp (the soft tissues of the root canal) becomes inflamed or infected due to deep decay, repeated dental work on the tooth, faulty crowns, or a crack/chip in the tooth. Sometimes dental trauma can cause damage to the pulp, even if the tooth has no visible chips or cracks.
